Confirming an Appointment

At roughly 3-4pm, the automatic SMS system sends out reminders for patient appointments for the following day. Roughly 50% of patients respond themselves within an hour, with the following 30% doing so between close and the opening the following day. Approx 20% experience either technological failure or phobia, so we end up confirming for them. To do that, you'll need to press the GREEN FLAG icon on the Stream Deck (TOP LEFT) to trigger the appointment confirmation page:


Once there, you'll need to enter responses to a few things, generally including:

  1. Name/DOB
  2. Any respiratory symptoms they may be experiencing
  3. Whether they wish to switch an in-person appointment to telehealth.

Once you've entered all the info, click on the CONFIRM button for the patient - as always, the admin desk will take care of the rest!


Before hanging up, remind the patient that they'll need to wear a mask while on site!
