Sending Scripts (Rx) and Referrals

After a Doctor has completed either a referral or Rx request, they will send a message indicating that:

1. The Rx/referral is DONE, and

2. Whether or not there will be a processing fee ($30 - PRO).

For the most part, doctors either send scripts as eScripts directly to the patient or email referrals directly to specialists.

Very occasionally, the doctor will drop off the rx/referral at the front desk, to be scanned and sent to either the patient, pharmacy or specialist.

Doctors will also respond to the request through the CSMP Online Rx and Referral Request account; whomever is on admin at the time of the response will then direct staff what is to happen with the paperwork through the appropriate Teams channel!

1. Open the relevant patient's file, and select    BP Comms , then click  Send Patient Message :

OK, got it!
