Who should get vaccinated?

Who should get vaccinated?

People of ALL ages are at risk of the flu - even the young and healthy!

However, the following people are at greater risk of some of the more serious complications:
  • Children under 5 years of age
  • Pregnant Women
  • People over 65 years of age
  • People with chronic health conditions (such as diabetes, heart or respiratory conditions)
If you are older than 6 months, you're safe to receive the vaccine!

If you work with or near people that meet ANY of the above criteria, then it's just as important for you to be vaccinated as them.

Flu spreads easily and quickly through nursing homes, schools and businesses, so if you work in or around any of these environments, then vaccination is HIGHLY recommended!
