When a Patient Calls...

When a patient calls, there are two questions you need to ask:

1. "Have you been here before?"

and

2. "Who do you usually see?"

If the answer is YES to question one, then look for the next available appointment with their usual doctor.

If the answer is NO to question one, you'll need to find the next  DOUBLE  appointment available, followed by:

3. "Can I get a LAST NAME, FIRST NAME, and a CONTACT NUMBER?"

FUN HACK: You can start typing the phone number into Best Practice from call ID screen and it will identify the patient - makes it easier on a bad line!

You'll need ALL of the above even if it is an EXISTING PATIENT.
